On Saturday, February 3, the Indoor Football Tournament for U10 Eagles under the name DRUK-INTRO CUP 2024 was held in the Sports and Entertainment Hall of the Inowrocław Sports and Recreation Center. The originator and organizer of the tournament is the Druk-Intro company. Partners of the event were: OSiR Inowrocław, IFS - Inowrocław Sports Foundation and Decathlon.

Eight teams participated in the tournament:

Elana Soccer Academy Torun

Football Academy MKS "Mień" Lipno

Reissa Football Academy - Inowrocław

Chemist Moderator Bydgoszcz

Huragan Pobiedziska

KS Unia Drobex Solec Kujawski

MKS Janikowo

Victoria Niemcz Osielsko 2014

The teams competed in two groups - 4 teams in each, and in the final round the teams played each other for the next places in the tournament.

Every good game requires a proper setting. It was provided by the tournament host Ingenious Dobromir EVENT, who already at the start got the stands going, preparing them for intense support for the competing teams. This warm-up proved extremely useful when the duos representing each team took part in the Fans' competition with prizes. There was no shortage of excitement!

Sporting struggles require replenishing energy resources. Hence, during the breaks between matches, the Players and Players, together with their Coaches, consumed lunch at the Tam Gdzie Kiedy kiedyś restaurant adjacent to the facility.

It was not only the heroes of the field who needed to strengthen their bodies. Fans and Supporters (oh, it was happening, it was happening in the stands!!!), who reacted extremely energetically to the events, regenerated their strength in the Recreational Fan Corner, where all willing enjoyed coffee, tea, cakes (a low bow to the Parents of APR Inowrocław!), fruit and sweets.

The DRUK-INTRO CUP tournament is not limited to sports struggles only. It is a great celebration of joy, fun and sports community, which shapes good patterns of underage players and promotes cordiality and mutual respect. During the breaks between the matches, all those gathered in the OSiR Hall were able to admire football tricks, which delighted the Mario Muchol, as well as a breakdance show presented by the Inowrocław-based DANCE SCHOOL ONE TWO THREE. There were table football, dart, mini pitch, and coloring booths for all tournament participants.

A nice touch of the Tournament was a surprise prepared as part of the farewell, which, together with their parents, was organized by the underage charges of our colleague coach Mateusz Matuszak, for whom this year's Tournament was a symbolic farewell to his work at APR Inowrocław. We know from reliable sources that this gesture strongly "moistened" the coach's eyes.

The final meeting was followed by the official presentation of awards. Players, Players and Coaches received medals, which were handed out by a representative of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Football Association - vice-president for the Toruń sub-district, Mr. Dariusz Durda, and representing the Organizer - Board Plenipotentiary Katarzyna Rogalska, Board Member Karol Stojek. All underage adepts of the art of football were also presented with prizes in kind - backpacks with a tournament key ring, notebooks, calendars. Each team received a cup, a diploma, a commemorative album and a soccer ball for further training.

The Tournament organizer also provided Special Prizes for the teams occupying the podium, which were gift cards of the Decathlon network: place 3 - 400 PLN, place 2 - 600 PLN, place 1 - 1000 PLN.

Also appreciated were the Fans of the Huragan Pobiedziska team, who for their active support throughout the tournament were chosen Best Supporters and received a statuette and a basket of sweets. In the rivalry in the stands, the fans of MKS Janikowo kept pace with them, which was appreciated by the organizers by donating prizes in kind.

A special award named after Damian Szwandke for the Best Goalkeeper was presented by Mr. Roman Szwandke, dad of the late Damian, who was invited to the tournament. Mr. Roman - thank you very much for accepting the invitation!

As a token of appreciation for the professional judging of the competition, commemorative statues were given to two justices: Krzysztof Zelek and Gerard Gólcz.
